LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds created using advanced technology in laboratories. They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds because they are made of pure carbon.
The difference lies in their origin: while natural diamonds take millions of years to form deep within the earth, lab-grown diamonds are cultivated under controlled conditions in just a few weeks.
This innovative process is not only more sustainable and ethical but also offers a significant price advantage – without compromising on quality or aesthetics.
Yes, they are made of pure carbon and have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds.
Lab-grown diamonds are indistinguishable from natural diamonds. They shine just as brightly, are just as hard, and offer the same exceptional quality. Their chemical and optical properties are identical to those of natural diamonds. The beauty and quality are exactly the same – the only difference is their origin.
Lab-grown diamonds are more affordable because they are grown in controlled laboratory environments and do not require the expensive and time-consuming extraction from the earth. This saves both time and the high costs associated with transport and mining. As a result, lab-grown diamonds can be offered at a fraction of the price of natural diamonds – without compromising on quality.
Diamond Production Process
HPHT Process
In the HPHT process (High Pressure High Temperature), conditions are simulated that mimic the natural formation of diamonds deep within the earth. A small diamond seed crystal is exposed to extreme pressure and heat, causing carbon to transform into a diamond. This method is often used to create smaller or colored diamonds.
CVC Process
The CVD process (Chemical Vapor Deposition) works a bit differently and is often used for larger, high-quality diamonds. In this method, a small diamond seed crystal is placed in a vacuum chamber where gas is heated. The carbon from the gas deposits onto the crystal, growing layer by layer into a diamond.
